Welcome to the Aileron Nation

This is the rebirth of the Aileron Nation, a website that been around for several years but is now revived with a new purpose and direction.

First we want to be a place for all pilots to share their knowledge and experience.

We want to have a wiki with great explanations for all the topics of flight, from the basic to the advanced; a place for students of flight to find answers.

Second, we want to share more than just knowledge in the form of a wiki. We also can share the places we fly, the pictures we take and even the other locations on the web that pique our interest.

And finally we want to provide a place where pilots can help each other in a personal way. Some examples:

Can you help a pilot get a flight to pick up his plane?

What if a pilot is stuck due to weather or mechanical problems; Are you willing
to be available to host pilots in need?

Are you available to be a safety pilot for IFR practice, or other circumstances?

The Aileron Nation is not limited by geographical or political boundaries, all pilots are invited to join and share.
